RMA Guarantee Payment Policy

Over the past several years, Gremark has noticed an increase in customers who assume all valid date code repairs are covered under warranty by the manufacturer. With approval from our manufacturers, a payment guaranty policy has been established.

The manufacturer does not warranty the following conditions and repair rates will apply to the customer:

  • Bent pins
  • Torn, frayed, cut, sliced, pulled out cables
  • Liquid damage of any kind – external or internal
  • Abuse to cause physical damage, i.e., cracked plastics, broken glass
  • No trouble found or problem description provided by the customer cannot be duplicated **
  • Programming **

** No trouble found and/or programming are the most common repair evaluations for POS keyboards. If there are no mechanical defects found, Gremark is still required to receive, diagnose/evaluate, clean and retest your product to ensure it is in working condition. These steps are consistent with normal repair/return service processing.

It is incumbent upon the customer or end user to determine whether one of the aforementioned conditions exists prior to sending the product to Gremark to qualify for a warranty repair. If unsure, please contact Gremark or the manufacturer for clarification.

If the warranty repair has been voided due to a reason listed above, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the manufacturer for warranty approval. An email can be forwarded to ServiceAdmin@gtiservice.com from the manufacturer identifying your product that the warranty will be covered by the manufacturer.

By clicking the Accept button below, the customer agrees to assume payment liability if the warranty has been voided.
